Puerto Vallarta I Heart You...

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, has a very special place in my heart. My family used to own a condo down there for around 20 years, so as a kid I spent every easter break or summer vacation there with family and later on with friends. My fiancé is from there and most of his relatives live there.

We got engaged on a Tuesday and that weekend we were in Vallarta. We had already planned that getaway weekend way in advance, so it was perfect for the occasion. 

Let me share some pics of that relaxing and happy weekend.

If you never have gone to a family reunion, I urge to gather your family and branch out an invitation to distant members. It is amazing how many of you there are... 

This event was from my dad's dad side, The Bitterlin's.

Family in Mexico, USA and France.

It is always nice to know where you come from, your heritage and those amazing stories from the past. Put together your family tree, so when your children ask about their heritage you can show them.

I know families can be a pain in the butt sometimes, I am sure we are to them too. 

You don't know for how long we are here for, we better make it count. 

Do good, it will make you feel good in return.

No time to waste but on happiness.

Weekend Recap - Hit the road Jack...

Hello dear readers,

How is everyone's week-end so far?!?

On Thursday I went down to Ensenada, Baja California Mexico (where I am originally from), to host a dear friend's bachelorette night pool party. People ended up in the pool, not voluntarily haha. It was lots of fun and complete success. Think Ceviche, Tequila and lingerie gifts.

Friday, stayed down there the afternoon to visit some family and then back to SD, stayed home and watched some Ghost Whisperer on Netflix (they have all the seasons on instant), unpacked and packed again for today.

Today I am on my way to Santa Barbara to a Family Reunion from my dad's side. Never been, heard its beautiful... So I am very excited to make this little road trip.
